Barcelona urban tech campus

Innovation spaces built for the ecosystem

Tech Barcelona is transforming iconic buildings into hubs for innovation, entrepreneurship and research, creating an urban tech campus embedded in Barcelona and built for the ecosystem.

From the waterfront to the city centre, the Tech Barcelona Piers bring together startups, corporates, investors, researchers and institutions in places designed for connection and momentum.

More than workspaces, the Piers signal permanence, credibility and institutional validation reinforcing Tech Barcelona's role as a leading Barcelona tech hub.

“Our campus is a growing network of spaces woven into the city's landscape.”

Pier01

The Ecosystem's Flagship

Pier01 is located in Palau de Mar, a former port warehouse built in 1890 and transformed into office space during the 1992 Olympic redevelopment.

Since 2016, it has been the flagship headquarters of Tech Barcelona, a 11,000 m² hub bringing together startups, corporates, investors, and institutions in a prime waterfront location between Barceloneta and the Gothic Quarter.

Pier03

A Living Extension

Located in the historic Porxos d'en Xifré, Pier03 is a natural extension of Pier01.

Built between 1836 and 1840, it was the first building ever photographed in Spain (1839) and the first Barcelona residence of Picasso.

Today, Pier03 brings together startups and large corporations in a transversal space where history and innovation meet.
